Prior to joining K2 Credit, Mercy spent two years in private equity at HyCap, an investment fund focused on the energy transition. As part of the investment team, she assessed opportunities across the energy transition value chain, spanning renewable fuel production and distribution through to transport and other end-use applications, with a particular focus on hard-to-abate sectors.

Her experience covered investment analysis, due diligence and transaction execution, alongside the valuation and ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies. She also supported debt and equity fundraising across the portfolio.

Mercy holds a Master's degree in Physics from Imperial College London, where her research focused on emerging materials for solar energy applications.
