Starting his career at Arthur J. Gallagher before joining Marsh, Ben has over 10 years’ experience in the large account and placement space, consistently focusing on commodity traders, banks and FI’s.
After a 1 year placement in 2017 with the Head of Placement at Marsh, focusing on new facilities and binders, Ben joined JLT. At JLT and then Marsh (through acquisition) Ben specialised in the Commodities sector, while continuing to lead Bank and FI accounts.
For over four years before joining K2, Ben co-led the Marsh UK Commodities team across Trade Credit, Structured Credit and Political Risk – responsible for account resourcing, driving the new business pipeline and managing the P&L.
Ben is ACII Qualified and a graduate of Newcastle University. Ben has also completed the CFA Certificate in Sustainable Investing qualification.
